Yuji Itadori The Protagonist

Yuji is an ordinary high school student with extraordinary physical ability pulling a shotput like a baseball and running 50 meters in under three seconds. His grandfather’s dying words define his entire arc: use your strength to protect others, and die surrounded by people rather than alone. Manga fate: Yuji survives. He was prophesied to be executed, but defeats Sukuna and continues living as a mentor to the next generation. In Modulo (set 68 years later), he has stopped aging due to consuming the Death Paintings physically immortal but not indestructible, outliving everyone he loved.
Megumi Fushiguro The Ten Shadows Sorcerer

Megumi is the most tactically intelligent of the first-years analytical, reserved, and morally pragmatic. His Ten Shadows Technique summons divine shikigami through shadow. Megumi is the only known sorcerer to have survived summoning it.
Sukuna coveted Megumi’s technique and ultimately possessed his body, turning Megumi into the vessel for the final arc’s true villain form.

Nobara Kugisaki The Straw Doll Sorcerer

Nobara is the third first-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High and the cast’s most consistent source of forward momentum. Her greatest moment is against Mahito the cursed spirit that manipulates souls where she uses Resonance to attack Mahito through Yuji (who shares a soul connection with Sukuna). It is one of the most creative and emotionally rich combat sequences in the series.
She was critically injured by Mahito during the Shibuya Incident, with half her face destroyed in a direct soul manipulation attack. The series kept her survival ambiguous for most of its second half. She survived. The manga’s epilogue shows Nobara wearing a patch over her left eye and resuming missions with Yuji and Megumi.
Satoru Gojo The Strongest

Limitless gives him infinite spatial control: Lapse Blue creates an attractive compression; Reversal Red creates an explosive expansion; Hollow Purple combines both to erase everything in its path. His Infinity passive automatically slows anything approaching him to zero relative to his body. His Domain Expansion Unlimited Void drowns enemies in infinite simultaneous sensory input, immobilizing cognition entirely.
He was sealed inside the Prison Realm at the Shibuya Incident, unsealed later, and fought Sukuna in the Infinity Castle arc.
Manga fate: Gojo died fighting Sukuna the most polarizing moment in the series’ finale. In Modulo, 68 years later, he is remembered as a hero who stopped the Culling Game.
Ryomen Sukuna The King of Curses

A demon sorcerer from the Heian era, so powerful that the jujutsu world could not kill him at his death. His curse fragmented into 20 fingers, preserved as Special Grade objects. Swallowed by Yuji, he inhabits the protagonist as a passenger.
Cleave adapts its cutting force precisely to what is required to kill the target. Dismantle strikes at a fixed power output. His Domain Expansion Malevolent Shrine is unique: rather than creating an enclosed space, it extends across a vast radius of the real world, automatically activating both cuts on everything within range.
His true final form uses Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows Technique after forcibly possessing him the act that makes Sukuna the series’ definitive final villain.
Key Supporting Characters
Kento Nanami — Grade 1 sorcerer, former corporate worker turned jujutsu veteran. His Ratio Technique strikes the 7:3 structural weak point of any object.
